Noorduyn Norseman
Alle Norseman som kom til Norge hadde en militær fortid enten i RCAF(alle MK.IV),USAAF eller Luftforsvaret(de fleste,både MK.IV og VI).Polarfly i Narvik kjøpte hjem de første Norseman i 1947 og da selskapet Widerøes Flyveselskap i 1949 begynte Norseman for alvor å sette spor etter seg i Norsk sivil flyhistorie... .En stor takk til Kay Hagby for tillatelse og publisering . Noorduyn UC-64 Norseman var et lett transportfly beregnet på to manns besetning og åtte passasjerer.Rekkevidden var 750 km og toppfart 225 km/t.Åtte fly ble anskaffet helt mot slutten av krigen under lend lease avtalen med USA.Flyene ble fløyet hjem 25-28 mai 1945 og brukt til kommunikasjonsfly.Med flyene var også levert flottører,som ble påmontert noen av flyene....Fra boken KJELLER Senteret for Norsk Luftmilitær teknikk gjennom 90år 1912-2002
Det norske flyvåpnet opererte Norseman fra 1945-1959 alle hadde reg R-A pluss en bokstav etter A. et fly hadde N-21 reg.
