Wfu in july 1967 .Seen in Gardermoen air base autumn 1968.This aircraft was as part of an experiment painted in camoflage paint 1968 after it was withdrawn from use. Later this aircraft was used as a ammo testbed for Raufoss ammunition factory, then dumped Bradalsmyra ,Raufoss.The front fuselage was transported to Sola Flymuseum by 1992.The museum only wanted a few parts from this aircraft . Instead of being scrapped J. R. Haugen bought the fuselage in august.1992 and had it at his home in Arendal.In 1994 the aircraft was sold to Erling who has this aircraft on a island in the Bergen area.
Aft section is from 54-1268. Tail fin is from F-86K 54-1271 and wings have serial K-75 and K-80

RI-S privat eiet Hordaland (samme eier har "238" F-104G Starfighter også) 06.11.1963 kolliderte dette 54-1248 med en innflygninglys stolpe
 dermed ble høyre ving sterkt skadd men landing gikk ellers normalt. 27.07.1965 kolliderte RI-S i luften med en annet F-86K RI-I  54-1302
Dette flyet styrtet i Vestfjorden,Bodø.Flygeren var uskadet.Derimot (RI-S) klarte og returnere til Bodø. Det står RI-J står på høyre side av
maskinen men på venstre side av maskinen er merket RI-S
